In 2024, Justwintec received a custom medical fastener project for a front fork screw used in a medical device assembly.
The customer provided engineering drawings and required strict dimensional control, thread accuracy and reliable mechanical performance. Based on the drawings, we manufactured the screws according to the specified requirements and completed the initial production.
However, during the customer’s assembly and performance testing stage, the complete medical device unit failed the required tests and could not be released to the market as planned.
The issue was not simply a manufacturing defect. It involved the interaction between the screw structure, tolerance control and the final assembly system.
Challenge: The Screws Passed Production, But Failed in Real Assembly

3. Thread Performance Improvement
Thread connection directly affects fastening stability.
Our engineering team analyzed the thread engagement condition and optimized the thread-related parameters to improve installation reliability and overall connection performance.
Result: Successful Testing and On-Time Product Launch
After implementing the optimized screw design, the revised samples were tested again by the customer.
The improved screws successfully passed the required medical performance tests, allowing the customer’s new product to proceed toward market launch on schedule.
